Week 32, Tying My Shoes, And Other Accomplishments

Week 32
·  Size of baby:  The Web shows him
tipping the scales at almost four pounds and topping out at just about 19 inches. I believe he is bigger however.
Weight gain: I had a dream I gained 20 pounds in a week. Thankfully this isn’t true. I'm probably right over 130 at this point.
·  Symptoms experienced: Baby gymnastics in there. He kicks where it will sometimes hurt a little. I also can’t slouch with him wedged everywhere.
·  How I feel: So excited about this little ones nursery. Its GETTING THERE!!!!
·  What I've been craving: Honeycrisp Apples. SO GOOD. Rice crispy treats my aunt makes. Not the store kind.
·  What I miss: Currently my hubby. He’s out of town for the night :(. I miss going from sitting to standing without looking like a beached whale trying to turn over.
·  Best moment: Putting in the carpet in A’s room and then hubby and I laying on it and talking about him in his room. Then setting up my chair(!) that has been IN A BOX for a year, and his crib.
·  Items purchased: A closet organizer for A’s closet. Now I have to do all the laundry that is all over the floor. And we got a wonderful surprise from my friend Ali in the mail and some exciting things for A and a wonderful wonderful wooden block with Max’s birth information on it.

I can still manage to put on my shoes by myself… with a little maneuvering. Seeing as I can’t reach my feet. I have to torque my feet sideways and do a weird side knot thing. Getting them off is a bigger problem. Hubby usually does it for me. While he laughs a little bit. :). The other day he came home and my aunt and I had put a smiley face on my stomach using my protruding belly button as a nose and I had forgotten about it and when he went to kiss my stomach and say hi to baby A he saw it and cracked up. Whoops. Baby A was happy to see him apparently. Other than just normal things, we finally received our ordered carpet and could finally put it in A’s room. We did that the other night and it is beautiful! And so soft! Unrolling the padding, cutting it and then putting the carpet over it was tiring, but now it’s down and looks good. After the carpet Hubby was on a roll and went straight to assembling my dream chair. I ‘helped’ but kept getting sidetracked by food in the other room. So I would wander in occasionally munching on whatever new item I uncovered from the cabinet or fridge while he built. Once the chair was done I sat in it while he built the crib. I was in charge of moral encouragement. Now all we have left is… well quite a lot… but we are a lot farther than we were before!
